Swiss Association of Public Transport
The Swiss Association of Public Transport is the national umbrella organization of public transportation companies. Its members include 127 transport companies and around 180 companies from business and industry. The APT was founded as a cooperative in 1889.
Purpose
- To represent the interests of its members towards politics, public authorities and third parties
- Coordination of transport companies in national tasks
- A platform for knowledge-sharing between transport companies
- Promotion of customer-friendly public transport
